According to the sources, JKCA selected 16 players for Col. CK Naidu Cricket Tournament after proper trails. On October 7, the team played 13 overs in a four-day match against their opponent Goa when match referee stopped the play midway.

Sources said that a player who was left out at trails has approached the court alleging foul play in the selections process.

“Hisham Saleem son of Dr Saleem u Rehman has brought a stay order from the court and stopped our participation in the tournament,” a player said.

He said that players are feeling depressed ‘since we haven’t played any full game in the tournament’.

Meanwhile, Minister for Youth Services Sports and Technical Education Molvi Imran Raza Ansari said that he will look into the matter.
